Lugano is a town in the

of trails in Switzerland, including the course of the 2003
Cross-Country World Championship event. The skate and bike park

their times on three specially arranged tours of between 1.5 and
3.5 hours, each with a permanent timing system. Hikers will find
a host of different trails, including parts of national and
international routes and several theme trails giving an insight
into local history, nature and landscape as well as flora and
fauna. Several guided hikes are also available. Nordic walkers
are well catered for with five special courses. Golfers will
find a demanding 18-hole course in breathtakingly beautiful
landscape. Swimmers will be totally in their element with a
choice of indoor and outdoor pools as well as the lido.
Relaxation seekers have a wide variety of wellness options, lake
cruises, chic shopping, several beautiful parks and of course
lakeside strolls. Families have almost boundless choices
including the famous Swissminiatur (Switzerland in miniature).
Nightlife lovers can party into the early hours in a variety of
